Reservation for Open General Category people on Economic grounds - A Feather in Mr. Modi’s cap or an Albatross around his neck? 1.   At the outset, the Reservation for Open General Category people on Economic grounds - A Feat  Narendra Modi government deserve congratulations for having ensured the passing of the 124 th Constitutional Amendment Bill in the Lok Sabha on the first day; ratification by Rajya Sabha the next day and Presidential assent within the weekend. This is unusual in Indian legislative history. Now laws are made by the Parliament at a very brisk pace. Viability of Sugarcane Farming in India                         1.       Sugarcane (Saccharum sp.), a member of Graminae family, is indigenous to India.
